Heart of the City is very happy and excited to announce it has received a much needed and useful grant to support its Food Rescue and Food Distribution programs.
Lisa Pickerman, Director of Grants and Scholarships at the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, said,
"It is our pleasure to inform you that on July 26, the Community Foundation's Executive Program Review committee approved a grant of $10,000 to Heart of the City Mission Foundation. This grant is designated for food rescue and distribution."
Pickerman went on to say,
"On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, we wish you much success with your current endeavors to serve those from our community."
